Christmas tree

The tree went up the day after Thanksgiving.
We ate T-giving leftovers and some yummy treats.
We sang songs and listened to music.

The girl got to put the star up.

The holidays really are 'something else' with kiddos around.

Magic.

Saturday Jog

Aaron is really good about taking the kids on jogs when he has time... mostly on Saturdays and sometimes (rarely) if he comes home and there is still light outside! Here are my cute peeps on their way out for a jog...

:)

First Sucker

November 1o, 2011

He had been reaching for a sucker for a few days (they are in a jar on the kitchen counter) and being fussy about it. I gave in while I was trying to get dinner ready (timing was impeccable- eeek!). He pretty much loved it- not that you can tell by any of his expressions.  He probably licked the sucker about ten to fifteen times, got all sticky and he was all done.  His dad was proud (proud that he was done so soon). :)

Artist

I love watching Aubrie draw/paint/color. She takes so much pride in what she is doing and LOVES it. She is very creative and loves everything crafty.

Laying Around

Luke cracks me up pretty much all the time.
This particular instance (I didn't catch him in time to get a perfect shot of it, so this will have to do) he just laid himself right down in the beanbag like some old couch potato and looked around... it lasted all of 30 seconds before something presumably great caught his attention and he was off to do more important business.

 He is getting so big!

My sweet girl. There is nothing like the peacefulness of a sweet sleeping child.

1st Haircut

Luke got his 1st official haircut on November 3rd.  Aaron took the clippers to his head and took off the long uneven baby hair- Hallelujah! He looks so handsome and so BIG! I love
this little stud!

Halloween

For Halloween we went trick or treating on Waterview, just like last year. It was fun because there were tons of people trick or treating so it wasn't scary for the kids at all.  They just saw the other people right in front of them and copied what they did.
Aubrie was really into it this year.  She was very good about saying, "Trick or Treat" and always said "Thank you!"
This was Luke's 2nd Halloween so he was still quite the amateur, but had fun nonetheless!

These were taken right after the pumpkin was carved...

Where's Luke?!

Peek a Boo!!

Bone Jammies on a late night walk .

Ready to trick or treat.

Aubrie already decided that Luke will be a pumpkin next year (he will NOT!) and she will be a fairy princess (not just a fairy and not just a princess)... or maybe a pumpkin again! :)
